I know it's an arbitrary question..but I'm wondering, how do most people feel about 2-3 weeks before the test in terms of preparedness? I'm not there yet but I'll be juuust finished with my first thorough run through and I already know I've forgotten a ton of stuff.
Basically I'm wondering how much the last few weeks matter for most people in terms of score increases and actually retaining more info and what a "safe" NBME score would be 3 weeks before the real thing.
I've been doing OK in random timed world qs, but I've started doing 2nd passes of some subjects and I find myself spending a lot of time squinting at some stupid mnemonic I made that I don't remember at all. Finally, the standard seems to be 3 passes through FA -- anyone succeed with less..?
Last q, while I'm loving the combo of World + Goljan + FA, how much tested is actually NOT in FA? In other words, are Goljan/World meant primiarily to clarify points in FA or really add a lot of info? I'm trying to plan out my last weeks of studying in order to decide whether to try to remember details not in FA or to just focus on FA info + clarification points I've supplemented into it.
