How did you find out about DOs?

I was wondering how everybody found out about DOs (counselors, friends....)?

Initially found out about DOs from my pre-health advisor, but soon found out for myself when I volunteered in a hospital and they were all over the place.

I first found out about DOS in a computer class in grade school. God, it was a bitch to remember all those commands. Thank God for Windows!
