What books would you recommend?
What classes would you recommend- TPR or Kaplan?

I want to study 3 months over the summer and then take the MCAT in late August.
Did you spend all day studying, most of the day, etc?
Did you guys go out with friends at night during the weekdays after studying?

Other feedback would be appreciated too.

I am doing research and volunteering in a hospital while using my own modified SN2ed Schedule. As a result, I don't get to go out with friends very often (maybe once to twice each week).

I'd say that if you have the option to focus most of your week on only the MCAT, then do that. It gives you more time to enjoy part of life so you aren't at a higher risk to burn out.

I worked part-time when I was studying for the MCAT. I studied for approximately 2 months, with 1 month allocated to reviewing material and the last month allocated to taking practice exams. I would recommend The Princeton Review over Kaplan for the sciences because the material was more watered-down in the Kaplan books. The key to verbal was just doing tons of practice passages. I would recommend making a schedule for yourself and strictly sticking to it. Overall, what works for you may be different from what works for others. Some people need to take breaks, others feel too anxious whenever they do so and need to study 24/7 seven days a week (Although I personally wouldn't recommend the latter). Some people need more time to review, others can remember everything quickly in a short time spam. I know a friend who did amazing with only a month's worth of studying. But yeah..that's just my two cent. Good luck!
