How did you pick your speciality?

Moving to Osteo as OP is still a med student.

From my own personal experience, I hated every rotation 3rd year until about March. It was frustrating to see my classmates liking multiple fields when I couldn't even find one. And then I suddenly I found myself on a rotation where a 12 hour day flew by and I felt like I was good at something, and actually wanted to study because I liked it so much. The rotation after that was even better. Just give it time, keep an open mind, and you'll figure it out eventually.
 
I agree that working backwards isn't a bad idea. That's what I did and definitely think I made the right decision. Ended up in IM and did the same elimination process when choosing a sub-specialty.
