how did you study for bio?

first I read the kaplan (blue book) bio section...then i did all of the destroyer questions. I felt as if i was ready so i started taking topscore tests. on test 1 i got 14 & test 2 i got 15. that sucks!!! so i didnt take the third test. I want to be really prepared and then take the test # 3. So what should i study now? i dont know what else to study and from where. I ordered cliff's AP bio...which will be here in few days but what should i do till then? when i receive my cliff's book do i just start reading that? i dont know how to prepare for this section 🙁 i want atleast a 19 in bio.

i would really like to hear how did you guys prepare for this section. thanks in advance!

I didn't use Destroy so I can't comment on that, but for bio I went over the kaplan blue book over and over and over and over and did well.

For bio i gave up on the Kaplan blue book, i am studying from both my text book and schuamms outline, but i use the titles of the blue book to figure out what I have to study. Once I get like 1/2 wayt with schaumms I'll start looking at DAT destroyer then later I'll do a Top score test...

made notes on each kaplan chapter

used schaums for the sections of kaplan that suck

read 10000X

do destroyer problems

do topscore and achiever and write out all problems gotten wrong as well as correct explanations

read everything 10000X


i swear you'll be singing this crap in your sleep if you do what i did, haha.

In truth the Destroyer is not there to teach but to reiterate key concepts. However, the bio sections answers are filled with so much info it fills in a solid informative aspect that you would want to have approaching the DAT!!🙂
