Hello!
I was just wondering if anyone knows how ADCOMS favor undergrads who work part-time while going to school. I am a full-time student who works two part time jobs (30+ hours a week). Will working part-time increase my chances? I wouldn't say that I really need the money but I feel like I should work because I want to release some of the strains on my parents. I am still able to volunteer, manage a 3.81 GPA, and involve myself in many clubs- however, I never have time to "chill" as much as I used to (hahaha, not really a good or bad thing). Anyway, thanks for all input!

Oh and this concludes my first SDN post! HELLLOOOO WORLD!

They will notice that you are working two jobs at the same time while doing everything else. It essentially tells them you have good time management skills. You will be fine.

Being able to work 30 hours while excelling at difficult coursework either indicates inherent intelligence or very good time management skills. It can't hurt...

i have worked two part time jobs totaling ~25 hrs a week and definitely noticed a dip in grades..so with 30+ hrs and a 3.8 I find that impressive...probably med schools will too
