Hey Guys,

I was wondering if anybody knows how admissions offices see the coursework on the primary application. Is the GPA broken down for each year for them? The reason I ask is because I had a rough start and even though you can see the trend when the grades are listed, I feel that it would be easier to see a trend when the GPA is broken down by year. This is me just being curious but if anybody knows I would really appreciate it if you shares the answer.

Thanks in Advance!

They see it exactly the same way as the pdf you download.

They look at science and non science GPAs separately and together. They see how many hours of each you took per year as well as your GPAs for that year. So to answer your question, it is broken down year by year. It is literally broken down like that on your application, so it will be available to you after you submit it to each school.

this is how they'll see your gpa. later in the pdf, they'll see a breakdown of your actual coursework with the grades. so bio/zoology, genetics, inorganic, organic, physics, other sciences, behavioral sciences, math and nonscience.

Yup...that's what I get from our Admissions office. The app has your year by year coursework too, with grades. I like looking through these and seeing interesting course titles. Makes for good interview questions

Thanks for the info. I feel like trends are easily seen when there is a breakdown.

And Goro I've heard from friends that they were hit with questions about classes. Will deff do my homework.
