Hi,
I wounder if the AMCAS will calculate the gpa based on my school way of calculation and gpa or in a their own way?

if so, how do they calculate it individually? do they add all the courses I have taken and give each an individual point based on the scale below ?

A = 4.00 grade points
A- = 3.70 grade points
B+ = 3.33 grade points
B = 3.00 grade points
B- = 2.70 grade points
C+ = 2.30 grade points
C = 2.00 grade points
C- = 1.70 grade points
D+ = 1.30 grade points
D = 1.00 grade points
D- = 0.70 grade points

best,

If a college gives only 4,3,2 etc as numerical grade but put A+/- for letter grade how will AMCAS handle it?

Not sure about +/-. The way I calculate my grades is by using this magical spreadsheet.
