For seconaries...how do we write out our responses? For example, if the question is "what was a challenge you encoutered in the past three years" or "describe a situation where you were really stressed"....would i write my response:

"A situation where I was stressed was..." or do I make it more like the personal statment and start out with an opening intro and a thesis statement etc. I am just not sure how to go about answering these. I mean, most of them have to be pretty short, but I feel like a first grader writing out "i was most stressed when I was in ___." Any feedback?? thanks so much!

Like you said, if you answer the question with a complete sentence that is elementary school. It'd be to your benefit to answer it like the PS, make it interesting so it stands out.

Depends on the length. If they're asking for a few sentences, keep it elementary (though I might paraphrase the prompt, rather than copy verbatim). If it's paragraphs, go with PS style.
