Hello,

How do I become an EMT? I live in Anaheim, CA so any local leads would be appreciated very much.

How hard is it to find a job once you're certified?

You might find something useful there. I plan on taking a basic EMT course at my local community college next semester.

I just took my EMT-1 certification exam yesterday.
I took an EMT course at a community college over the summer.
Most community colleges have these classes over the summer or a semester.
Although I haven't started looking for a job yet, I've heard that it is pretty easy since there is a high turnover rate (most EMT's typically work for an ambulance company for 1-2 years before they move on to med school, paramedic school, firefighter academy, etc...).
