Hi everyone!

Live in Bay Area, go to a ccc , starring second year. Where would I get research experience? Where do I look? Confused! Can't seem to find any programs around me

The Bay Area is a biotech hotspot. From Novartis to UCSF. You should start looking up labs on your own and email them. It takes certain kind of initative but you have to do it. No one will hold your hand. When choosing a lab, you should be mindful of labs that have a record of mentoring undergraduate, imo, I think that can be even more important than the science itself, especially when you're an undergrad, or even a grad student.

Look at recently pub'd and of course lab interests to see if you'd be interested in that area.
