how do i get into 0-6 program?

i'm going to be a junior this year, but i don't know what I have to do to get in to that program. do i just write in the college application or what do i have to do?

HS junior right? Yes there will be an application involved. You need to do some research on what schools offer a 0-6 program and what their requirements might be. I don't think there is a list of just those schools (at least I couldn't find one) so here is a link to all the pharm schools.

There is a page on AACP website where you can compare different pharmacy schools and find lists of all the 0-6 programs, 3 year programs and 4 year pharmD programs in the US.

It has many other options in terms of comparing different pharmacy schools. (e.g. finding schools that require PCAT and schools that don't require PCAT...etc..)

Yes each school has an application with its own admission requirements.

How it works that you automatically get into the pharmacy program as long as you keep the required GPA (2.5 to 3.5 depending on the school, usually about a 2.7-3.0).

I have heard that the best 0-6 program is Rutgers (I wish I knew about it in HS, then I'd probably go there). USP and Pitt probably come second (though the Pitt 0-6 program is hard to get into and you need a 3.5 GPA to stay in).

Well, I know that MCPHS has an acceptance rate of ~60% for their 0-6 program. Other schools, like Rutgers and St. Louis COP are a LOT harder to get into, however. I guess it also depends on your state of residence.

I applied to USP last year and it was the BIGGEST hassle. I applied in August and had everything sent. They told me I'd know in Nov. Well, that came in went. I was on the phone with them literally every week trying to figure out when they would let me know and if they rec'd my transcripts, and each time I got a different answer. "You'll know in two weeks," or "At the end of April." Finally, I just gave up on them and decided to go to my state school. In June, I finally got a letter from them saying my application was incomplete which really topped the cake. 👎thumbdown

The GPA is a bit low for USP, esp. if you don't have a lot of APs. I don't know too many people that go here that got in with a 3.0. Other colleges you may get into. An 1800 SAT was OK when I was applying (though I hear that the school got a lot more selective in the past year).
