Medical How do I get off alternate list?

Hey y’all,

I was recently alternate listed at LECOM. I’m super bummed as this is my first choice (my family lives in Elmira). What are the chances of getting off this list? I sent a LOI in hopes of bumping up my position but don’t know if it helps much. If you're willing I can PM you my LOI to see if it’s good.

no one can say what your chances are. It seems unlikely a letter will help you, but I don't work there, so I can't tell you about actually going there. If the school expressed a preference for how they'd like you to show interest, go with that.

Just depends how deep you are on the wait list. Try to make sure they know you are interested but don’t be pushy
