How do premeds with 3.8+ GPA's study?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Each individual's most effective style of studying is unique.

However, I have found it really beneficial to take the initiative to actually learn the material, rather than blindly memorizing everything. By doing this, you gain an appreciation for the material and actually peform better since you enjoy it.

Another thing is to put the "premed" mentality out of the way. By this I mean not worrying too much about your GPA or that someone else scored better than you in an exam. Just stay focused.

Btw, I've completed about 58 credit hours, and still have my 4.0 GPA ;) .

Please do not post if you are going to say....

"I don't study...ect. ect." Only helpful and relevent comments please.
Then don't ask :)

Yes, in general most students with great grades do exactly what you outlined and everyone should be encouraged to do exactly the same.
