Hey,
This is probably a dumb question but when schools see our AMCAS transcripts, do they see all our grades and a year-by-year OGPA and SGPA or is it semester-by-semester or both? Do they have options on how they'd like to see our grades?

Thanks.

you might want to post this on the "AMCAS : All Questions Here" thread for more responses...I think it is somewhere around page four right now on the Pre-Allopathic forum. 🙂

They see your GPA's only in the year such as freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, post-bacc, and grad which they get from how you classify your status as to when the classes were taken (they get AO, BCPM, and Combined), however they see all the classes and grades received by semester as well even though the GPA's are not calculated for them.

edit: JLee is correct. I left off the supplemental because there is no GPA for them (just credits passed or failed etc). There is also a culm undergrad and a culm grad which I failed to mention

they see it year by year.
BCPM - All Others - Total - Supplemental Hrs.
Hours/GPA - Hours/GPA - Hours/GPA -

FR - - - P/F-Pass:
SO - - - P/F-Fail:
JR - - - AP:
SR - - - CLEP:
PBU - - - Others:

that didnt turn out as nicely as i would have wanted it.
regardless they do a breakdown of gpa each year.
