In ... , I received a C in .... That semester, I sustained a partial ligament tear in my knee, which significantly affected my mobility and focus during recovery. At the same time, I was balancing demanding work duties to support myself financially. While I remained engaged in the course, these overlapping challenges impacted my ability to perform at my usual academic standard. Since then, I’ve recovered and actively reinforced my understanding of statistical methods through research projects that apply these principles in real-world contexts. This experience deepened my resilience, strengthened my time-management skills, and taught me to seek support early when navigating competing responsibilities.
