How do they average your scores?

Do they look at the highest score you got during one sitting?
Or do they take the highest scores from each areas for multiple sittings?

Does "they" mean universities or Pearsons? I'm guessing you are inquiring about universities, so in that case you need to contact the school(s) you are applying to or look at their websites because different ones analyze scores differently.
