How do they grade the COMLEX

Does anyone know how they score the questions in the COMLEX? Is every question worth the same amount? Or are they of different values? Can you get over 50% correct and still fail?

I thought 400 was passing, its out of 800.

I think through some complex statistical analysis they take the mean and make it 500. From there, determining the passing score probably involves consulting with MIT math professors and the ghost of A.T. Still, MD, DO.
