How Do They Know It Is A Lab Science?

Hey guys,

This may be a dumb question, but how do adcoms know if a science you took was a lab science? For example, I took Biol II, and it was a 4 hour class, and lab was included. But it's not mentioned in the transcript that it was a lab science?

Do adcoms just know that a 4-hour bio II class includes the lab?

This is a guess only but they can probably assume that since it's not the traditional 3 hour/credit class only.
