How do you accessorize?

Fanny pack.
I agree... that's what I plan on wearing. I mean, if Chuck wears one, who wouldn't?
I haven't found the need for a fanny pack yet. I don't even have a clip board which I've seen one person use. I use the back scrub pants pocket to keep my paperwork, I have a stethoscope belt clip, and my ID holder has a key ring where i keep my drug box key and small LED flash light for when I can't see the back of the pt's throat in pre-op.
I keep a stick of phenylephrine in my scrub shirt pocket only when I am doing an epidural, and some versed to give to the pt when I start walking back to the room. Everything else I order and the nurses gets it and gives it in either pre-op or pacu. if I have left over fentanyl I'll bring that with me to pacu with the pt just in case their in pain, but not always.
What do those that have fanny packs put in their fanny packs? Laryngascope and blade? emergency drugs? a sandwich? a gameboy?

Pen, pager.
(If you are starting out as a resident you should carry a stethoscope. Looks bad if you hafta borrow your attending's.)

👎thumbdown👎 Hell no!
I carry a pen.
👍👍👍👍👍 Mark of a pro!
Left pocket (outside pocket of scrubs): 2 pens, iPod Touch with med-critical stuff on front screen (rarely used.)
Right pocket (inside scrubs): Wallet (never keep the thing in the locker,) case log notebook. Keys and phone are kept in the locker.
ID badge is either on the Left Pocket or on the hip (moved to keep it out of the patient's face.)
Left hip: Call/code pager
Right hip: Pager
Back pocket: Stethoscope (rarely on neck. Deal with too many questionable people to keep a Littmann III Cardiology Garrote around my neck for more than a few moments.)
I have entertained the idea of a small bag to keep my narcotic kit in, but the drawers are lockable on the carts.

I was kidding! I wouldn't be caught dead with a fanny pack!
Pen, sharpie, pager, stethoscope, badge. That's it.
How do you accessorize to make your job more efficient? (tools, notes, gadgets, etc) or any shortcuts and tips that you have learned? or cool ways to style 😀 especially for guys
1)Pen
2)Cellphone...i.e. when a spine case is intubated and we're getting ready to flip I'll text the surgeon: Dude come to room 8
3)Copenhagen Silver Top. In lab coat.

In my shirt pocket I carry a little cricothyrotomy kit that a faculty person gave us finishing residency. Hope to never use it.
Pen, sharpie, pager, gum (don't want to smell my own bad breath inside my mask).
if you feel the need to further accessorize, check these out.

do you mean that needle Cric kit key chain?
Pen, phone, stethoscope. Pager if I'm at the hospital that still uses those archaic things. Charging cord for the phone if I'm call or late stay.
I'm thinking about adding a small flashlight.
If you're going to carry a fanny pack, might as well give your coworkers something to really talk about:
