how do you guys use EK101/TPRH for verbal?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Is it worth paying a lot of attention to the reasoning for every question? Or should it be taken with a grain of salt because this is how EK/TPR thinks, not AAMC?

I wouldn't follow their reasoning for answers all the way, but it is key to look at why you got questions wrong. For example, doing those passages will let you realize what kinds of mistakes you are making such as misreads or missing the main thesis of each passage. Once you know the types of mistakes you are making, you can improve from that.

I honestly question how worthwhile these sources are. I average 95% correct on these passages...and after 5 aamc tests my verbal Avg is a lame 10.2

I don't think they correlate at all and are way too easy...at least compared to aamc practices

geez that is pretty bad. I do find the AAMC harder than both EK and TPR. I find EK easiest. To be honest I was scoring 11-12 on EK 101 on my last write and only ended up with a 9 on VR on the real thing (and felt good walking out)
