So I have concentration issues, and tend to load up on coffee/energy drinks while I'm studying. However, I'm not sure I want to be doing that for the real test due to excessive bathroom breaks. Has anyone tried those 5-hr energy drinks? Looks like a lot less volume, so hopefully less bathroom breaks. I know it might be a minor detail, but I am worried about losing my strength after 4-5 blocks. Any advice is appreciated!

Do what you usually do. I knew a guy who brought like 4 energy drinks or something to his test. Drank X amount each break, which is what he normally drank while he studied.

There's plenty of time to use the bathroom after each block

Just bring a big thermos of coffee and have a few sips after each block, along with some candy or something...that is what I did anyway, worked very well! Besides, don't worry about peeing, you have plenty of time for bathroom breaks.

That's why you study for the test - it's kind of like training for a marathon in terms of building up your stamina. Every Saturday I would do a large block of questions to simulate the length of the exam so that I would be prepared for it

Bring coffee/energy drinks/etc and drink them on your breaks if you feel you need it - as long as you can hold it for an hour at a time, I felt like there was plenty of break time for a bathroom session every block if needed.

I depend on peeing to relax after an exam 🙂

I heard you should always match how you study with how you take the test.

For example, if you are very calm when studying but very nervous when taking the test, you won't do as well.

If you don't drink sodas and stuff when studying, don't do it during the test.

They don't allow you to chew gum during the exam... can't have anything in your mouth.

They may not let you chew gum, but they can't stop this! I've almost built myself up to 5 packs a day!
