How do you like your supervisor?

One of the best things about my job is my supervisor. He is seriously awesome. He is so helpful, always positive, and will drop everything for his pharmacists. And when I say all of this, I mean it. I'm not kissing butt or anything.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that my job is heaven or anything.

How about you? What are your experiences with your supervisor?
 
It is good that you hava a supervisor who cares.
 
Love my immediate supervisor who is the clinical pharmacist. The DOP is pretty cool too IMO, but all the other staff pharmacists and technicians tell me to watch out with him because he could apparently turn on you in an instant especially if it comes down to something that endangers his job. When he's angry about something he always say this thing about how he has kids in college.

He jokes around a lot but I can't tell if his jokes have a meaning behind them or not. Like the other day he walks in, sees me and notices that I'm wearing a graphic tee-shirt underneath my white dress shirt and is like "lol is it laundry day?" Can't tell if it was just a joke or if he seriously means don't let me see you wearing a graphic t-shirt underneath dress shirts.

You shouldn't be wearing a graphic t shirt, dork.
 
I like my boss. I have always liked my bosses and vast majority of people I work with. But then again, if I did not like people somewhere, I did not go to work there... I tend to trust my gut instinct on things like that.

Good managers know how to manage you to maximize achievement while providing personal growth. It means he/she will micromanage you if you need it or provide general guidance and let you achieve if you don't.

I don't do well in micromanaging environment where some require it.

Good managers know how to manage people for their maximum effectiveness.
