How did you study for QR and reading comprehension?
how long did you study for? and what did you get if you dont mind?I can't give too much advice about QR because that was my worst section on the DAT (16) but RC was my best (25) so I'll try and help with that. I studied for the reading comprehension section my doing a lot of practice exams for that section (I used Bootcamp). I also tried to read articles that are similar to the reading on the DAT to improve reading speed there are websites out there dedicated to this if you just look it up you can probably find some. On the test itself I read the passage highlighting anything I thought was important then went and answered the questions in order going back if I was unsure of an answer but most I retained from memory from reading the passages. The test's passages were MUCH shorter than what I had on any of my bootcamp practice exams. Good Luck!!
how long did you study for? and what did you get if you dont mind?DAT BOOTCAMP!!! I did very well on QR and RC because of this. The QR in bootcamp is similar to actual DAT and the RC in bootcamp is much hard than actual DAT. Study and practice! Finish all the bootcamp tests and you'll do very well on both of these sections.
I studied for about 2.5 months. The first month wasn't serious studying, but then I started going hardcore once the DAT approached in the final 1.5 months. I got over 21 on both QR and RC. Just keep doing the practice test. Also, Khan Academy through Ari's study guide is very helpful and the DAT destroyer too for the QR section. Khan Academy to better understand math concepts and Destroyer for extra practice. I just really followed Ari's study guide at my own pace.how long did you study for? and what did you get if you dont mind?
