Hi,

I have a hard time choosing tufts and nyu. both are really good school. when i went to interview in tufts and other school, they told us about their strong acdemic supports. students are very cooperative in helping each other. however, when i went interview in nyu, i did not hear any mention about acdemic support except they give out good training. can anyone from nyu tell me how you survive in dental school? This greatly affects my choice, because the curriculum is much more overwhelming than undergraduate ( even studying hard in undergrat at UC can only get me a 3.3 ) . Any avice is helpful. thank you!!!!!

if you're disciplined; and can allocate a few hours for studying everyday, d-school isn't that hard at all. it may get overwhelming at times, but for the most part it's manageable. And I believe academic support would be available at both schools if you need help.

Don't have a hard time! Go with Tufts! Save yourself from NYU.

Undergrad gpa is no real indication on how well you can do...I had a 3.0 in UCD and I do fairly well here at NYU thats because of well made notes from previous year dental students and past exams:laugh: and I study harder. There is plenty of support at NYU if needed...tutoring etc...many of my friends went to the anatomy tutoring lessons and thought it was helpful.
