How do you take notes in med school?

I used to write in a spiral notebook by hand in undergrad but I heard that there's a lot more material and everyone uses a laptop in class. What programs/apps do you use to be most efficient at taking notes for school?

I used to take paper notes in undergrad. When I started med school, I found out about OneNote which is free and I just upload the PDF's of my lectures before class and can take notes/draw/highlight on them as needed. I really wished I had started using that in undergrad because it make things much easier.

Out of 130+ people in my class, I know of 2 that still take paper notes.
