at my school, in order to get a 1st class honours degree, one must be in the 97.5 percentile. in other words, each year there'll only be 7 to 8 students out of a class size of 300 who will graduate with a 1st class honours.😱
anyway, how will it show to others? i mean, i've never seen any doctors with a MD (Hons) in their degrees; i'm not sure if it's not conventional to put it that way, or if it's just too difficult to achieve? i do, however, have seen british doctors with MBBS (Hons); MBBS is their equivalent of the american MD.
does the "1st class honours" actually show on the diploma?
