How Does Academic Update Period Work?

Do I submit my new transcript now? Or do I wait until AADSAS begins the Academic Update period (my grades from this summer are already finished).

Also, does AADSAS have to "re-verify" my GPA for Academic Update period? And if so, does this halt processing of my application? Or is my application still considered complete by schools even during the Academic Update period?

If you already submitted your app then you can not make any grade updates till the academic update period. During that period,you will have the school send in your official transcripts but it will not stop your application process.
