Does anyone know how does the AMCAS calculate classes that are currently "Incomplete"? I read their pdf but they did not mention what they'll do with incomplete grades. Do they just not count them at all or count them as "F"s. 😕

Does anyone else here have an "Incomplete" grade on your transcript? What did you guys do? My professors are taking forever to update my grade, but I don't want to wait for them to submit my application. Since AMCAS refuse to update my info even if I send an updated transcript, would I have the opportunity to update my grades in the secondaries? 🙁

"If the Incomplete is unresolved, no AMCAS grade will be assigned."

So the incompletes shouldn't hurt you GPA. I have an incomplete on my AMCAS. As soon as I'm verified I can let you know how it turns out (under review since 6/26 -- how long does it take to compare my transcript to my application?).

Not all secondaries ask for you to re-submit your grades. You can send them updated transcripts, but what they actually do with that information is up to them.
