  1. Pre-Dental
Hey can someone please tell me the timeline for the application process, I'm not sure how it works.
i am currently set to graduate this coming june of 2019 and i will be taking my dat hopefully in around summer of 2019, and then i will have a gap year.
i did college in only 3 years and that is why my timeline looks like this, i will be taking a gap year after my dats because i know that when i apply, they will only accept me the following september.
so i want to know, if i graduate this june, what would i need to start doing to get everything done and be in dental school in september of 2020. what exactly is the process step by step/ month by month? when i their deadlines?

Have you done volunteering/shadowing? All your pre-red classes are done?

Sounds like you've got a lot of basic "pre-dental" questions. Do you have an advisor who can help you with really specific questions about the application process? This forum is awesome to answer questions but you should ideally also have someone at school or a friend in dental school who can be with you step to step.

Basically, if you want to enroll in dental school in fall of 2020, you need to apply in summer of 2019. So you should have your DAT and pre-reqs and shadowing done by then.

I second this, is there a predental club on campus?
Everyone's timeline can be a little bit different, I didn't take my DAT until after the application portal had opened and that worked for me. You need someone to sit down and really analyze your current schedule and where you are at.
