How does Downstate contact you?

I just emailed Downstate to make sure that my application was complete, and they wrote me back that they had just mailed me something. Should I be expecting a rejection, or an invitation? Anyone already been through this? I was under the impression that all of the interview invites had been done via email.

Downstate contacted me with both email and a phone call, but its very possible that mail will be sent as well.... good luck

I wrote them to see if I was complete and they said that a letter had already been sent telling me that I was. I can't remember the letter but I wrote to them in the first place because they sent a pamphlet with information for medical school applicants 2003-2004. I don't know why they sent it to me. Did anyone else get this?
