Honestly, what do admissions committee's do with disadvantaged status? Either financial or educational? How is it used? Do they take peple with lower than their average gpa and MCAT because of this. Or is it just a statisical thing used for reporting purposes only?
How much of a deviation is given, if it is used? I mean a school with a gpa of 3.4 , 28 MCAT- is a 3.3 disadvataged status in their ball park? Does the disadvatage status factor in at all? I'm asking this irregardless of race, whether you are black ,white, asian, hispanic, packy, male, female, martian...whatever?
