Your first year schedule is packed. I would push off physics until your 2nd year. I might also consider taking an upper level biology (microbiology) during your 2nd year. I don't see any introduction to biology on your schedule? Most schools require 8 credits of this class. Don't forget about the Organic Chemistry 1 lab.

I know the PCAT has some organic chemistry, so it may be a better idea to take the test after finishing those classes. Good luck.

Maybe push Physics back to Spring of your first year and Fall of your second, if your school offers it? Your first semester is a lot of memorization classes, although if Chemistry isn't your weak suit, I think you can handle Physics and Gen Chem I / O Chem I, depending on how much work the O Chem turns out to be. I was also wondering where the Intro to Biology was.

I also agree with the other poster - O Chem is on the PCAT. I believe some MCB is on the PCAT as well? I don't know how to get around having to take these classes before the PCAT and still being accepted to your university of choice right after your second year.

Do you have any volunteer work or pharmacy employment? If not, you might consider squeezing that in somewhere (but where, I'm not sure).

I've updated my course schedule. I believe it's MUCH more manageable now.

Also, I will be working as a tech during my summers while taking the summer courses at my local CC.

What do you guys think?

It looks good to me, except I again question the logic in taking the PCAT without even a rudimentary understanding of Organic Chemistry...

And working as a Tech during the summer is an excellent idea.

I could easily learn the rudimentary Orgo on my own, right? haha

I mean thats what I'm going to HAVE to do. Maybe they'll have pity on the bad score on the Chem section of the PCAT.

If you have no choice, then you have no choice. Make sure you get a Mosby's, Kaplan or Pearson PCAT study guide though. I don't recommend learning OChem on your own but then again, I'm a social services convert and had to learn math all over again from Algebra, so maybe for a right-brainer it'd be a no-brainer. (See what I did there?) =-)
