I made a final school list thread a little while back, but it was focused mostly on MD schools and now I just want to make sure I have my sights right for my DO schools.
Stats:
3.65 cGPA, 3.5x sGPA, 513 MCAT balanced, solid EC's and LOR (I believe), MT resident, graduated from large private school in Utah
List:
PNWU
RVU-CO
Marian University
Oklahoma (I know it's a state school, but it seemed pretty solid)
KCOM
DMU
KCU
PCOM
LECOM
UNECOM

If there are any that I should drop or add, please let me know. Thank you very much!

Unecom is fairly northeast-specific. Who knows though, a friend from Texas got an interview there...

Per some people OSU likes high OOS MCATs

A 513 is high for any DO school. If your GPA is 3.6 and your ECs (clinical, volunteer, shadow) are decent you should invest that money towards MD apps. Apply to 5-8 DOs and then post a WAMC with your GPA MCAT and ECs listed and get a MD school list.

If you drop oklohoma and UNE ( attendance and dress code) you still have 8 great schools there.
Or leave all 10 if you can still get in 15-20 MD apps... I would say 20 at least...

I dropped a couple of DO to add a couple more MD. My MD list stands at 22 right now, so I think I'll look for a few more and have about 30 schools total between MD/DO. Thanks for your advice!

Delete OKCOM, UNECOM. Add TUNCOM, Touro-CA, AZCOM, both Westerns.

No MD schools???

Emory is maybe at best. Your sGPA is hovering around their 10th %ile.
I can no longer recommend Penn State given how their parent body protected a child molester for decades.
List looks fine otherwise.

Sorry to double up on you here, but would it still be worth trying Emory since my last 30 credits of undergrad were at 3.9 for 300 and 400 level science? I know it's not exactly a post-bacc because it was still part of my degree, but it's about the same length I think. I've just liked Emory for awhile and want to give it a shot if there's a chance.
