How does the letters of recommendation work in this situation?

Each of the following schools want:

Columbia- 3 Science and 1 dentist.

NYU- 2 Science and 1 dentist.

U of Jersey- 3 Science.

Midwestern- 1 Science, 1 dentist, and 1 other

the randomness continues...

If I send out 3 Science and 2 dentist to AADSAS, does AADSAS send them all out at once? Or do they only look at the "first 3" as I read in other threads and it's more like a crapshoot to which ones they "pick" or whatever?

Sorry if it's a novice question, it's just confusing because people write/say different things.

I'm sorry, I misread. 1 Science, 1 Dentist, 1 other.

AADSAS only takes 4 letters, which they send to ALL dental schools, and the schools will decide whether or not they will read them all. Also, it doesn't seem necessary to have 2 dentist letters for Midwestern:

"One must be from either a pre-dental advisory committee or a science professor. The other two, preferentially, should be from either someone with a DO/MD, DDS/DMD degree and/or someone who can testify to the integrity and ethical standards of the applicant." (not family, obviously)

I would submit your 3 science letters + 1 dentist letter. Call Midwestern and check if you can substitute another science letter for the 3rd one. If not, then you'll just have to mail that one to Midwestern separately.

Other could be a science or non science or other then or dentist so I think you'll be fine if you can blend the right combo. It really throws a wrench into the wheel when you have the before mentioned breakdown of evaluators and then another school wants a non-science.
