How does the +/- transfer in the TMDSAS system?
I have a B+'s in Gen Chem and I was wondering what GPA they would be in TMDSAS

They are converted into Bs.
This is how the dental schools will see it.
A- = A
B- , B+= B
C-, C+= C
So a B+ will be a 3.00?
Hey so is it better to get an A-. Because I am stressing on this phyiso course, hard course at our school for some reason, I can get an A maybe 90 percent chance, but a backup will be an A-, so it would still be an A right so a 4.00? So if I took Ochem I should aim for an A-, than a B+? Also does this count towards GEC like if I got a A-in art class or something lol?
I dont know sorry for my ignorance but this seems really cool to plan out how well to do in classes
So my goals used to be an A, but I can feel much better and not get stressed if I get an A- lol. Also so for those people who post their GPA and stats they are using this scale correct?Follow this then for TMDSAS:
An A no longer possible? Aim for an A-.
An A- no longer possible? Aim for a B-.
A B- no longer possible? Aim for a C-.
Hopefully, you don't get anything lower...
All of your letter grades will be converted to letter grades no matter what. In this case, (-) grades benefit more because they are converted to the standard neutral letter grades if you know what I mean. Sometimes, things don't go our way no matter what so it is best to keep things real and not stress too hard if you can't control it any more. Unless you are failing. lol

By the ways thanks for the help mate.
P.S. It sucks if you get a B+, but it is standardized so really its fair for everyone so cant complain
Wait so it only counts for Texas schools? Every other school uses +/-? So Texas is the only exception?
No not Texas resident. Looks like I will be using AADSAS. Its all good.
Thanks for the help
