Hello guys, I am really confused about this whole application process right now.

I done my PharmCAS and supplemental application for UF couple monthes ago; However, I am not sure I am be able to get in their pharmacy program for sure, I figured I should started my transfer application to UF also. I am going to graduated from a community college with my A.A this May, and If I dont get in to any pharmacy schools that I am applied, I planning transfer to UF and get a 4 yr degree in Chemistry.

Now what confused the hell outta me is: do I really suppose to start a transfer application now? Is it true that I can get in UF for sure as long as I have a A.A? I just wanna make sure I can get in the UF if not their CoP.

Thank you so much for your time!!

Just because UF is a public school and you have an AA, doesnt mean you are accepted automatically. If I am not wrong, what community colleges say is that if you get an AA, you will be automatically accepted into a 4 yr institution but it doesn't have to be your first choice school.

To get into UF you have to apply as a transfer if that's what you are trying to do! (transferring from one program to the other) (ps. you should have done this a long time ago) ... If what you want to do is attending its pharmacy program, then you just have to go through its regular process. (pharmcas, supplemental, interview...)

Best of Luck! 👍

You are correct. In FL, an AA degree guarantees you a seat in A public university (not necessarily your top choice), but NOT a guaranteed admission to any college of pharmacy. So your AA will get you into an undergrad state university in FL guaranteed. Anything above that is not guaranteed.
