I have heard that it's fairly easy...this is the only section that is essentially "freaking" me out. Any advice?
What resources are you using? there aren't too many discrete concepts in chemistry. I did all my studying out of Schaum's ap chem and a textbook I could read through in a couple hours, and that was more than enough for a 30.
I'm using a variety of sources but have finally gotten around to my Cliff's AP Chemistry book. There's not a lot of talk about it on here so here's my opinion.
This book is 70% problems. Lots of them are hard and require you to know these concepts inside and out. Basically it gives you the law, equation, and an example problem and then throws a bunch of questions at you without really teaching you.
So I recommend other sources for teaching (KBB, Thinkwell) and then using this as simply a text of practice questions.
So Cliff's AP Chem = Bad for teaching but great for practice problems if you already know you're stuff
Cliff's AP Bio on the other hand is a wonderful resource in every aspect.
