Not past 4, I hope. I thought that most IM applicants usually get what they want, at least within the top 3, considering IM isn't the most competitive of fields.
speaking with our assistant PD, IM applicants seem to consistently get their 1st or 2nd choice in the past few years. Of course that may be school dependent, but probably generalizable, as I think IM programs do a good job of screening apps and only picking possible candidates.
