I was looking at the list of unfilled spots that was posted 3/14/07, how fast do they fill up? Have they already all filled with foreign grads? Whats the time line for most programs to fill unmatched spots? Thanks!

They fill up very fast, most on the day of the scramble. I have friends still looking for positions, and very few, if any are available. Best bet is to contact the programs directly. Good luck.

Many desirable spots have tentative match agreements within 30 mintues or less of being announced on scramble day.

There are likely a few medicine or surgery prelim spots still available. There may be a few categorical FM or medicine slots available somewhere, but that will require some serious leg work to find.

You're a few weeks too late.
