Hello future OTs,

I was wondering if anyone knew how full the class at AT Still is as of now?

I just interviewed today (12/4/15) and I felt like it went pretty well...but when told when I would hear back about a rejection/acceptance/waitlist, I was given what felt like a speech about how being waitlisted is not being rejected and many people from their waitlist do get into the program. Since this whole process has had me tightly wound, I naturally jump to the conclusion that the best I can expect is a waitlist (not terrible...but not the best news either). Has anyone else who interviewed there been told the same thing? I don't know if this is normal to hear from them or if it's hinting as to what I should expect.

I interviewed there a few weeks ago and was given a similar speech. I was convinced that the interview didn't go too well and that id be rejected, but I just received my acceptance the other day. So don't stress too much! I won't be attending though, so this will open up a spot for someone. Good luck!

Did they say anything else to you during your interview? About areas of improvement, recommendations, or anything else?

Thanks for your reply... I'll try to calm down about this! It worried me since their earliest interviews were in October, but I didn't even consider that not everyone who gets an offer to go there takes it.

One of the questions asked was along those lines, but when we talked after the interview that didn't come up. I have no comparison about how things went since this was my first OT interview, which ups my stress.

I interviewed at ATSU on Nov. 7th and found out a week later I was accepted. I was not told anything about the waitlist during that time. However, It may have to do with who interviewed you. When I went there was two groups of interviews happening so maybe my people just didn't say anything? Good luck, however! I hope you get good news.

Nov. 7th is about a month before I had my interview... The class could fill up a lot in that time (apply early could not be emphasized enough with rolling admission!). I interviewed in the room that appeared to be part of the OT advising dept. My fingers are crossed!
