Hi !!!
I have finished working on MCAT review books and need some information for practice material. Honestly speaking I have a very little money to spend on books and practice material. I took the help of public library to finish review material. I have found someone selling a set of used books. They are MCAT princeton review hyperlearning study kit of 2006. Are these books are good?? Are they any worth without classroom course? I am very confused ,, I only want to spend my money on practice material and even that ,,used is cheaper and so better for me. Please help me... Any related information will be appreciated.
Thank you...

I am currently using Princeton Review's 2007 set of books and they are working well for me. I took the whole hyperlearning in classroom course (came with books), but felt that it was kinda useless for me since I'm more of an independent learner. Not all the PR classroom teachers are that great either. They're either hit or miss.

The books are perfectly fine w/o the course. IMHO they make it easier for you to study because the condense everything down to only what you NEED to know. Just be careful if you're buying used PR books because serious MCAT students who have really used their books will have written all over them. Mine are completely illegible after i'm done scribbling notes on the side. But i hear exam krakers' set of books are pretty good too.

The books are great if you want detail. If you've got plenty of time to prep, I'd really recommend them.

IMHO if you are familiar with the material and can self-teach, the classroom course is useless.
