Season Starts Sept. 4

Creighton, Wake Forest, Dartmouth and Michigan are "Medium" with two or three short essays.

Mayo has no secondary. They either send you a rejection or invite you to do a recorded telephone interview.

MCW is easy (no essay).

Northwestern was kind of a pain just because you only have about a week to do them. Emory not too bad because of the word limits -like 100 or something.

Pritzker is tough. Three long essays.

Loyola is long too, i didn't finish it because of the strict due date

NWU one week deadline, three essays - basically wants you to flatter their program

Michigan - one essay, 250 words. pretty easy.

Georgetown- Medium - One page on why you want to go there and how the school will prepare you to be a physician

Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences asked why you want to go there...so you better talk about the military and your interest in military medicine. THere is a time limit of 3 weeks. they also want a clinical letter. just getting the clinical letter was a pain for me....so i rated that as medium-hard.

My totally unofficial breakdown, just my opinnion FYI...

BU - Easy

Case Western - Tough

Dartmouth Medical School Regular M.D. - Medium

Emory University School of Medicine Regular M.D. - Easy

Medical College of Wisconsin Regular M.D. - Easy

Northwestern - Hard (due to 1 week time limit)

Stanford - Hard

University of Chicago - Hard

University of Pennsylvania - Easy

University of Pittsburgh - Medium

Weill Medical College - Medium

Yale - Medium
