How difficult is it for radiologists to pick their locations? My town just opened a community hospital and it would be a dream to work there, but of course those jobs will have been long filled by the time I get through residency. F*ck.

Another almost impossible question to answer. If you want to work in a coastal city, then be prepared to take whatever's available. If you're willing to work in west Texas, for example, then name your price.

It's as simple as supply and demand. Many people want to work in the big cities, more so on the coasts.
