Hi,
I am changing programs as a PGY3 in Psych and I have 2 questions
First, how hard will it be to get board certified in psych? Although I've read a bit about the ACGME requirements for psych residents, and switching at the PGY2 level, but not a lot about PGY3. It seems all different institutions have different rules as to how they apply credit.
Secondly, and this appears to be more of a problem, some states definetly don't like people leaving programs, , and it seems very compli8cated to do at this year of training. Will it be very hard to get a state license in the new state? I didn't apply for a full license, only had a training one in the state I'm leaving.
I'd appreciate any help.
