How helpful/harmful is a positive volunteer LOR that has NO substance???

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

I received a LOR from my volunteer manager and she basically wrote stuff like..

I am enthusiastic and passionate in performing activities...

How now I have a full-time job I am still committing to volunteering....

That I am easy to converse with ... etc etc

Is this LOR of any use AT ALL???

yeah its additional "flush" to the pillow that is your application.

It's neutral.

If you have some other good ones and are just looking for some extra LORs to fill a requirement, having one with little substance is not going to help or hurt you.

If you have other LORs and can fill up the requirements, don't use it.
