My scores and I was accepted into dental school:

Sci total: 21
Academic Average: 20
Bio:20
Gen Chem:20
Orgo: 23
Math:16
PAT: 19
Reading: 19

For the sciences, know the DAT Destroyer inside and out. It was EXTREMELY HELPFUL. Do not take the DAT without purchasing this book. I did every question in the book 3-4 times and the answer key was very helpful as well in covering the info for the sciences. Also for BIO, Cliffs AP BIO and the Barron's Regents book were helpful. But focus mostly on Destroyer.

For the PAT, I did the Crack the PAT Deluxe edition (10 tests) 2 times each. It was very helpful. I did the 7 Achiever tests for PAT as well, but it was more challenging.

I did Top score 3 tests for english, Achiever 7 tests (was more challenging)

MATH DESTROYER was VERY necessary. I did all of the 15 tests 2 times. I also used Crack the DAT book for more math formulas and tips.

Also, I took the 2007 and 2009 tests online. That was helpful for timing and doing full-length practice tests.

Good luck!

Foremost, congratulations on your acceptance friend!

Now if you don't mind me asking, mainly to help others, how did you go about the math destroyer?
the consensus here is that MATH destroyer = basically a copy and paste of math section on the real DAT. Yet you seemed to have scored slightly below average on that section.
Was the problem time? Its clear that exposure was not the issue here.
Any input would be a great deal of help for all SDNers

Your scores on Achiever will be less than the real DAT more than likely; their practice tests are more difficult and they get harder as you take each one. I scored 2-3 points higher in each section on average.
