How important are clerkship grades for the psych match?

The amount it matters depends on what kind of program you're trying to match into. Regardless, I think at this point, the best thing you can do for yourself is try to do as well as you possibly can on the rest of your rotations, even if that means pushing yourself to show interest in ones that you are not particularly interested in. As a psych resident you will have to spend time on off-service rotations (which can include things like IM subspeciality outpatient clinics!), so psych PDs do pay some attention to your performance in non-psych rotations.

Your clerkship grades matter, and getting some higher than pass in non-psych rotations is a good idea. Also you don't want negative comments showing up in your MSPE. It's good that you have honors in psychiatry, try to drum up more interest in your other rotations too!

Keep in mind reviewers will consider your performance relative to your classmates at least as much in interpreting your grade as the grade itself.

As others have said, they do matter, first and foremost, great job on getting honors in psych! That is the first clerkship grade/comments I look at when I interview someone, I personally also value IM rotation grades a lot because it is very helpful, but YMMV, depends on the program. I am not involved in creating the rank list so no idea how much it matters, but again I think programs will be different.
