How important are grades after acceptance?

After you are accepted, how important are fall and spring semesters' grades if they are NOT pre-reqs? Do they only look at additional science grades or all the grades? Can they take away your acceptance if they are C's? I'm assuming anything below a C would definitely not be good...

have you guys heard anything about this issue from schools you have been accepted to?
