How important is it to continue volunteering for all 4 years of college?

I volunteered at an elementary school for the first three years, but this year their policy changed and it will be pretty inconvenient for me to get all the forms and fingerprints done, plus I have to pay for all of it. I'm wondering do you even specify how many years on the application or is it more like you just say how many hours? Thanks!

Long commitments are good. There's no rule. Your experiences make you who you are. If it no longer fits into your schedule, I'd advise some clinical experience if that is your only EC.

You've already shown you're committed by volunteering there for 3 years. I don't think 3 vs. 4 years will make a difference. Consider finding some other volunteer activity with less red tape for your senior year.

On the primary you say start date to end date (month, year) and total number of hours. If this is quite inconvenient to you, drop it and do something else, that's no problem.
Do you also include the doctor(s) names for shadowing? Or would you include where they are working. Same thing for non-clinical and clinical volunteering. Or is it just the start date/end date/#of hours/text box to include whatever you need to say.

Do it or don't do it because you enjoy it or don't (or can't).

Don't make your decisions based on your application. .

You can include anything you want. I included names, specialties, and associated institution or hospital.
